11/7/12 Report - Coin Patterns, Karl von Mueller & Fossil Tooth
Written by the TreasureGuide for the exclusive use of treasurebeachesreport.blogspot.com.
I've mentioned a lot of different types of finds that Sandy brought but I haven't mentioned fossils. Besides cobs and coins and artifacts, Sandy did bring out a few of those. Here is one tooth fossil that was among the many fossils that Sandy exposed.
How much is a penny worth? Sounds like a stupid

Large Fossil Great White Tooth
I hope you liked Clausen's report on the Fort Pierce collection that I posted yesterday as much as I did. It should be especially helpful when researching local military finds of that period. The button collection is really great.
I've seen a pewter feather holder

6/27/12 Report - Debby Comes Ashore & Another Millions-Year-Old Find
One Treasure Coast Beach Yesterday Afternoon.
Tropical Storm Debby has been hard to predict. Some models had her going West to Texas, others North, others East and even a few, Southeast. It was really all over the map.
Some of the mystery is now over. Debby hit land near Steinhatchee and is headed across Florida above Orlando and then out into the Atlantic.
I would guess that the Outer

6/22/12 Report - Thousand-Year-Old Find, Returned Ring and Conditions
Here is something I found on a beach. It is about an inch and a half, measuring left to right.
Do you know what it is? It's not a mushroom. I didn't know what it is, but one of my expert readers did.
I'll post what he said below.

12/19/25 Report - A Few Spots Eroded & Six More Hunting Days Until Christmas
Written by the Treasureguide for the exclusive use of treasurebeachesreport.blogspot.com.
Typical beach Monday Morning.
It appears that most of the beaches along the Treasure Coast are pretty mushy right now. Many are scalloped. I saw a good number of shells, a good bit of sea glass, and some fossils in addition to metallic targets. I didn't see any pottery or shipwreck wood

7/11/11 Report - Ice Age Treasure Coast Finds & Blaming Detectors
Fossilized Ice Age Antlers (Tine & Base in Matrix)I recently found the tine on the beach. I found the base sometime ago. I like the matrix.I am thinking of making the tine into a pendant.A lot of people think that if they aren't finding anything, or not what they want to find, that the reason is their detector. That is usually not the case. Most detectorists (those that I see anyway) have a

2/3/11 Report - Flat Seas, Porpoises, Fossil Sand Dollar, and More
Flat Sea and Fishing Boats Off South Hutchinson Island This Morning.Looks more like August than February. It seemed like the fishing boats were all heading south of Fort Pierce this morning. The beach looked like it was August too. The beach was accumulating sand. South and Southeast winds will tend to do that.I didn't really see any beach spots worth detecting. I only took a look at four spots
