Lentils Packaging (Student Project)

Packaging Contents: Lentils
Packaging Materials: Paperboard, Food Grade Plastic, Polypropylene (PP) Injection Moulding

The following points were kept in mind before designing the new packaging for lentils:

i. Eliminates the use of another container and spoon.
ii. Protects the lentils from moisture and insects.
iii. The container can measure the lentils poured.
iv. The lentils should be visible from outside, since consumers in India prefer to check and buy such products.
v. Cost of packaging should not rise majorly.
vi. Illegible fonts on top of transparent packaging to be eliminated.
vii. Focus on information like All-natural / farm-fresh / natural flavor, etc.

As a brand TATA is known worldwide because of its product’s reliability & consistency. TATA I-Shakti Dal has penetrated in the market and people’s mind because of the feauture “Unpolished Dal”. Being a college assignment, we took up TATA I-Shakti as our brand.
