The story of this wine begun more than a century ago, with the pioneering dream of Venâncio da Costa Lima: to bring one of the world most aromatic grape varieties – the Moscatel, the flagship of the Setubal Peninsula- to every corner of Portugal. Pioneiro wine brand was created by the Wine & Shine team to pay homage to his vision.
What's Unique?
Pioneiro (meaning “pioneer” in Portuguese) Moscatel wine packaging was designed as an exclusive brand for Venâncio da Costa Lima, Sucrs, Lda. The vintage style label and gift box pay homage to the founder’s dream, dating back to 1914. But in a relaxed, casual way, typical of this wine producer mood.
Dux is the perfect place for who wants socialize, drinking and eating in a cozy and relaxed but refined atmosphere, that provides a unique set of gastronomic experiences. The walls are lined with wooden boxes that once transported wine. The new house wine "Dux Taberna Urbana", presents a label designed by M&A Creative Agency, inspired in the wood that adorns the three restaurants, through a pattern simulates its texture. Carrying the space and the environment to the label makes the wine as an integral part of the restaurant.
Oitava Colina is a micro-brewery from a Lisbon neighbourhood called Graça.
I was tasked to develop a brand that reflects their origins. After that, I teamed up with the Portuguese illustrator and street-artist Gonçalo Mar to create all the packaging materials.

"To claim Lisbon as the City of Seven Hills, the same nickname given to Rome, Frei Nicolau de Oliveira ignored the Graça Hill, which was the eight hill of Lisbon.
This eight hill, where our Brewery Oitava Colina was born, is the place we get the inspiration to develop and produce our beers.
Through odd tales of characters that live in the hill side, we’ll show you that, like them, our beers have personality! Now we can put the question out... Who is your beer?"
This question (and brand's signature) is answered on the labels, which tell the story of each character and explains its relation to that particular style of beer. This storytelling is present all brand materials.

On 500 and 600 meters of altitude, where the valleys of Serra da Estrela invite you to appreciate a breathtaking landscape, is based one of the most important terroirs of Dão. Quinta do Vale wines come from there and M&A Creative Agency has designed the label, inspired on this mountain. Quinta do Vale wines are noble, fresh and elegant, characteristics that were also a inspiration for the label design which are reflected in the golden and white tones, in analogy to Serra da Estrela.
Sandeman has just released their new aged tawnies bottles and labels, that embody their desire to uplift the brand and have an image coherent with the quality of their wines. To promote this new Aged Tawnies Range, they asked VOLTA to design a special premium press kit, that would introduce the range, explain the new brand positioning, their story and where they want to be in the future.
Using the highly distinguishable Sandeman yellow, we created a pack that encloses a hidden brochure and a wax-sealed 20 year old aged Tawny Porto. With premium finishings like gold foiled and embossed stamps, leather interiors, gold printed black wrapping paper and a stunning bronze medal on the outside, the Sandeman’s intention to be seen as premium/luxury brand is totally achieved with this jewellery-like pack.

Savvy was tasked to design a new packaging and a redesign of the label.
The premium quality of the 30 Years Tawny Port is reflected by the perfection and pureness of the packaging and label design. The packaging communicates the brand´s values, the attention to every detail, giving it a contemporary feel with a strong link to the manual and traditional work on the field.
Chindogu is a Indian Pale Ale craft beer inspired by a vintage style and dedicated to the spirit of inventions.

Bardana is the name of a medicinal plant found in the south of Portugal. Inspired by the natural ingredients of the craft beer and the artisan process of making it, the label reflects the rich flavour and the flora of the region.

The book catalog presents the complete range of colors, in removable profiles, with a brief presentation of the range. On the other hand, the pocket catalog aims to be a work tool always at hand, with the basic colors, essential for construction professionals.
The option for black as a base color, was intended to highlight the colors, giving them the due role.

The label was designed by M&A Creative Agency that follows a simple design but significant, with a geometric and harmonious graphic pattern that combined with a beige tone background, promises to surprise by the elegance and also its delicate flavours.

SCENTS INSPIRED BY NATURE FOR INNER SOUL
With ecological soy wax, 100% vegetable and unique fragrances, Ecolove candles transport us to sublime gardens where we can breathe scents never forgotten, awakening senses remained in memory. M&A Creative Agency developed the branding and the packaging design inspired by nature giving life to a new clean and simple branding.
A delicate lettering and a flower, in a sophisticated and elegant design refers to the calm of the fields and the natural world.
The can involving the candle is simple which is complemented by a stamp with the name of each of the nine fragrances available. From the graphic concept arise a neutral and balanced product that fits in any environment, from the simplest to the most refined.
We chose the 5 elements to represent each wine. The essence of each wine is symbolised by a different element and it's represented by a vintage illustration. The elements are presented in Latin, as a tribute to the ancient Roman tradition of wine production, practiced in the Alentejo (Portugal) region for thousands of years.
The concept and graphic language plan to present wines with the best of Alentejo tradition for those looking for a modern wine.
We present the range 100 aiming to offer a high quality product, produced in Portugal, extending the available recipes from Oqopo brand (formerly Riscos brand). It is intended to present the product with an innovative and eye catching packaging, looking to get a cool, fun and colorful image. You can detach the sides of the box for an exhibition with more notoriety on the shelf.
Oqopo have some traditional recipes complemented by other more innovative enabling the discovery of the best that is produced in Portugal.
Quinta de Ventozelo, one of the largest and oldest Douro estates, has launched its limited edition Quinta de Ventozelo premium olive oil, created by the Portuguese advertising agency Omdesign.
This is an extra virgin olive oil, extracted from the best olives from the century-old, native varieties on this emblematic estate, located on the left bank of the Douro. The 400-hectare estate has 30 hectares of olive groves.
For Quinta de Ventozelo olive oil, which is presented in an elegant 500-ml bottle, the advertising and design agency took its inspiration from the tree that produces this typically Portuguese product – the olive tree –, which is prominently embossed on the label and also on the external unique and differentiating packaging.
Frutorra snack's packages were developed to a young and irreverent target. Graphical language is based on illustration, accompanied by a friendly speech with jokes, simulating instant messages, written in the package.
In all 5 references there is an explicit association with the pleasure of eating snacks in several situations, like watching a football game with friends or to accompany a fresh beer. A funny approach, that empathize with an uncomplicated public.
