Porkinson

Designed by Jones Knowles Ritchie, United Kingdom.

The Porkinson Banger was the creation of fashion photographer, Norman Parkinson. True to his values, it is a classic, English sausage that is uncompromising on taste. Over the years, the brand has lost its association with its creator, so jkr were tasked with restoring Parkinson’s original vision to the pack.
A man of impeccable taste, he would accept only the very best. Despite his jet-set lifestyle, he missed the simple tastes of home and it was this yearning that drove him to create the ‘Perfect Banger’. A famously succulent sausage made from the finest ingredients and a fantastic, unique recipe.

The flamboyant bowtie design embodies Parkinson’s quintessentially English personality while providing great standout and navigation on shelf. The back of the pack elaborates further on his original story.

The result is a design that we hope Parkinson himself would be proud to see the pack wearing. 'The bowtie leapt out as a strong symbol of English exuberance and class. It also offered a vast array of colour and pattern to enjoy.

Scottex Pocket Tissues

Designed by ARC'S, Italy.

Kimberly Clark operates in some European markets thanks to the Scottex brand, Italy among them. Scottex is mostly associated to toilet paper and stands for softness and quality guarantee.
However, in Italy, Scottex also produces a range of pocket tissues that over the years has shown some weaknesses, such as poor brand identity and visibility.
ARC’S interpreted its restyling with the objective to reinforce the identity of Scottex pocket tissues, by defining a visual system exalting the Scottex brand and connecting the product to the brand.
The result is a strong visual identity that gives back impact to the Scottex brand and expressive strength to pocket tissues as well, improving shelf visibility too.
Colours are an extremely important identity element. The use of paste silver as serigraphy base (since unknown to the line) gives new intensity and innovation to the packet. Silver is the colour common to each individual packet and packets come in impacting shades and have strong characterization.

Yak Instant (Student Work)

Concept by Clara Roma & Ana Lasierra, they have just graduated with Masters degree in packaging design at Elisava School, Barcelona.

Our client, AC Marca from Spain came to us looking for a significant change in the design of their shoe cleaner. This shoe cleaner, named Yak Instant, is basically a sponge filled with a special mixture of waxes and cream for a fast cleaning. The main idea of our project was to reduce space and pieces per sponge, and also to have two products in one.

As you can see, due to its simplicity and ergonomic shapes, this new concept has an intuitive and easy way to use.

Jooze (Student Work)

Designed by Yunyeen Yong, Australia.

Jooze is a fictional company that manufactures fresh fruit juices, catered especially to kindergarten and primary school students. It is a company that believes that healthy eating habits should begin at a very young age.

The shape of the logo is inspired by the shape of a sliced fruit, and the handwritten typeface used is to portray a sense of fun, hands-on personality and characteristic that appeals to kids and toddlers. The logo also consists of singular bright colours, which may vary depending on the flavour of the juice. This would hopefully be a recognisable icon whereby children can relate and connect to the brand.

A simplified illustration of the fruits are to further clarify the flavours, to add visual aesthetics, and to appeal and connect to the target audience.

The juice box is shaped in an unconventional way to incorporate the essence of the logo, to gain instant recognition from the audience, and to capture their attention, especially if this product is placed alongside other juices on the supermarket shelves.

&Co represents simplicity – of purpose, provenance and production. The winery produces a single exceptional estate wine each season. To emphasise this we've pared the identity back to a black and white palette. We've made a feature of the type, letting it 'speak' to the customer. &Co breaks convention with more traditional looking wine brands, topped off with the uniquely cool closure of a crown seal, we're not at all upset that once opened we have to drink the whole bottle.

Gauss LED

Designed by Fastway, Russia.

One year after the release of energy saving bulbs Gauss has begun to produce LED bulbs and lighting based on future technologies. A good product without appropriate packaging is like a city without traffic jams or the President without twitter.

On the basis of color temperature the package boxes are divided into cold, warm and neutral. The quantity of diods is visualized too. Bulbs and lamps are like the happy couple — always together, but need different clothes. Everything is clear and clean — no ideal homes and “New!” signs.

The big LED family members have already settled all over the supermarkets.
