Andes Quinoa (Student Project)

Andes Quinoa is hand harvested in the Andes Mountains, where the craft of farming this crop has been perfected over the last 5,000 years. There is a rich culture surrounding these farms, and I wanted to capture that within the design. The bright colors within the design are inspired by the traditional clothing worn by the people of this region, and the hand drawn type and drawing represent the hand harvested aspect of this product. This crop has been consumed in South America for thousands of years, and is now becoming popular around the world. To accommodate for this, I created a bilingual package that includes both English and Spanish.
