Bunker Creative Sloe Gin

Creative Agency: Bunker Creative
Creative Director: Lawrence Hansford
Project Type: Produced, Commercial Work
Location: United Kingdom
Packaging Contents: Gin
Packaging Substrate / Materials: Glass, wax and cardboard

CLIENT GIFTS come in all shapes and sizes... and it's that time of year where companies receive gifts from their business partners and clients.

Seven to eight months ago, we decided we wanted to do something a little different for our clients as a token of their continued support. A handmade sloe gin was the most popular choice of gift in the studio, so we got to work.

Central to the gift was a message, we wanted to reinforce our appreciation to our clients and project how important they are to us. We named it Black Penguin (which is a very rare penguin) as some penguins are monogamous, they have life partners... and it's this message we went with to reinforce our friendships / relationships with our clients.

After two months of testing flavours, we settled for a 'Christmas spiced' gin with orange, cinnamon, star anise, cloves, cranberries and a dash of sugar.

We are delighted with the final product and more importantly, our clients love them too.

Summer Kiss

Creative Agency: Absolute Agency
Project Type: Self Promotion
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Packaging Contents: Beer
Packaging Materials: Glass, paper

There was no doubt on our mind. To honor Absolute’s 10th anniversary, we had to come up with a unique project that defines our way of life and work. The goal was to create a product that shows off the versatile, often surprising, skills of the Absolute team, while representing the passion and joy we put in everything we do.

We love a good beer after a week of hard work. By coincidence – or not? – one of our co-workers is designer by day, microbrewer at night. Quickly the idea emerged to make our own beer. Two months later, the Summer Kiss was born. An IPA beer with hints of grapefruit, 100% brewed inside our agency. Evidently, we designed a visual identity & packaging for the beer as well. The box, the glass, the bottle, the cap… Everything was created in-house to reflect the love we have for what we do.

Uproot

Creative Agency: Believe in
Project Type: Self Promotion
Packaging Content: Maple syrup
Location: Canada

Believe in® creates ‘Uproot’ to launch new Canadian studio

To celebrate the launch of their new Canadian studio, brand design agency Believe in® have created a special limited edition bottle of premium maple syrup, one of Canada’s most iconic exports. The name, Uproot, reflects the company’s arrival in Canada while also referencing the process of drawing water up through the Maple tree to create the sap from which the syrup is made.

Uproot takes a Canadian icon and adds a European design sensibility. 100% pure Canadian maple syrup was packed by hand into heavyweight Italian glass bottles. Takeo Tassel, a subtly embossed light gray paper from Japan was supplied by UK paper specialist GF Smith to reinforce the feeling of luxury. The paper was digitally printed, die-cut and adhesive-backed by creative printers Kolor Skemes in South West England to create the finished labels. A truly international collaboration.

200 bottles have been created, each individually numbered. The die-cut diagonal line on the front marks the geographic connection between Exeter in South West England and Mono in Ontario, the company’s two studio locations.

Founder and Creative Director Blair Thomson said: “Our brand is very much a representation of who we are and how we see the world. Uproot embodies everything that we strive for in our work - simplicity, beauty and meaning. Hopefully our clients and friends will enjoy the packaging almost as much as they enjoy its contents!”

Shameless Self Promotion & Creative CV (Concept)

Designer: Liza Pedersen
Project Type: Concept
Location: Karlstad, Sweden
Packaging Contents: Self promotion packaging, CV, Cover letter
Packaging Materials: Paper

As a young, ambitious and creative designer who are at the beginning of my career, I want to show the artistic, creative and passionate side of my creative soul. I wanted to create a personal packaging project that shows who I am as a designer, but also to promote myself and be remembered when I'm looking for my dream job. So rather than just sending a cover letter and my resume, I created a handmade, shameless self promotion packaging & creative CV. The package includes a printed portfolio of my current work, a personal letter, contact details and also a small gift to (hopefully) seal the deal.

Aside from showcasing my work in a unique and innovative way by highlighting my skills as a packaging designer, I wanted to incorporate my personal interest with graphic design so my potential future employer gets to know me. My main goal was to show how I work as a designer and my approach in this business, showing that I am consistent, dedicated and love craftsmanship when working with projects.

Project Type: Self Promotion
Location: Spain
Packaging Contents: Vinyl, CD, poster, business card, sticker
Packaging Materials: Paper

To promote Help! the studio, we wanted to get out of the conventional and established; give to our potential and future customers with a gift that would make them get a laugh and a face of astonishment.

Help! It is inspired by the Beatles song, but the same thing is another thing, it's another song ...

With this concept "It's not the same song," the project of self-promotion is developed, with the support replication of a limited edition vinyl with a number of details inside (business card, poster, sticker) and a CD with Corporate information.

And to reinforce the concept, while corporate pdf read, it has designed a playlist with several versions of the song Help !.

Do you need somebody?
